Raja Yoga Meditation helps you understand yourself as a soul and find inner peace.
Every soul has greatness and is special.
But not every soul is aware of their unique qualities and is energised to activate their special virtues. Creating calm thoughts will develop inner stability.
Wasting the energy of thought will lead to feelings of weak & fear.
So maintaining a regular meditation practice can sustain the power of the mind. Faith brings lightness, certainty, and spiritual happiness.
Your faith will be tested, so continue to check your foundations.
Note : This is not physical exercises. You will be seated on a chair whilst listening, discussing, meditating.

Who We Are …The Brahma Kumaris is a worldwide organisation dedicated to personal transformation and world renewal through the power of meditation.

for the fact that they are led by women,
for their practice of open-eyed meditation, for their emphasis on self-transformation or for their greeting of “Om Shanti.”
They do not chant, they have a minimal number of rituals and they have a practice of Raja Yoga Meditation that involves self-transformation through elevated thoughts and connection with The Divine in silence…

Raja Yoga, is a path of lifelong learning, study and application in daily life.

Raja Yoga, as taught by the Brahma Kumaris, is a meditation on the self and the Supreme — a journey of remembering who I truly am and reconnecting with the Source of peace and power.
It’s called Raja (meaning “royal”) because it’s about mastery — regaining sovereignty over one’s thoughts, feelings, and reactions.
At its heart, the practice involves three stages:
Self-Awareness – Recognising: I am a soul, a being of peace, distinct from the body and roles I play.
Connection with the Supreme – Remembering the Supreme Soul (the Divine, God, the Ocean of Peace and Love) and drawing spiritual strength.
Living Meditation – Bringing this awareness into daily life — walking, speaking, working — staying connected while in action.
This is not about withdrawing from the world, but about bringing lightness and purpose into it.
Common Obstacles on the Journey
Even with sincerity, there are natural challenges that arise — and each can become a teacher in itself.
Restless mind: The intellect jumps to thoughts, plans, or worries.
→ Gently bring it back to one simple thought: “I am a peaceful soul.”
Body consciousness: Forgetting and identifying with roles, possessions, or opinions.
→ Regular practice of soul-conscious awareness helps restore detachment.
Lack of time: Feeling too busy to sit quietly.
→ Begin with two or three minutes at intervals throughout the day — “traffic control” meditations help reset the mind.
Emotional resistance: Old patterns or past experiences surface.
→ See them with understanding, not judgement; the awareness of the soul’s purity gradually dissolves negativity.
Expectations: Wanting immediate peace or visions.
→ Raja Yoga is subtle and experiential; transformation happens quietly through remembrance.
‍Methods and Daily Practice Tips
Early Morning Meditation — when the atmosphere is quiet and pure.
Traffic Control: Short one-minute pauses every few hours to reset awareness and remember the self and the Supreme.
Study and Reflection: Daily listening or reading some Raja Yoga teachings deepens understanding.
Service through Attitude: Applying peace and love in everyday interactions.
Silence Practice: A few hours or a full day of silence helps strengthen inner stability.
Gradually, these small, regular efforts help transform thought patterns and bring natural peace and clarity.
