What we’re about
The group is here for active outdoor lovers as well as for people who like various cultural events, making new friends and explore new places.
Sometimes we go for a concert or other indoor event, sometimes we do a one day trip to some nearby town for a change of scenery - museums, sightseeings, coffee and good vibes. Or we hike to some castle. Canoeing trips may occur as well.
Sometimes there may be two-day hikes in the nature with cool overnight accomodations.

Let’s explore the hillarious Koněprusy caves!
What you can expect:
· Koněprusy caves (1 hour excursion) and hopefully a good coffee in the café near the caves
· Educational trail (3 km) around the caves with nice viwpoints on abandoned quarries
· About 13 km hike in a beautiful countryside of the Czech Karst
· Picnic in the woods from our own resources
· Wonderful views from the viewpoint on the rock above the village Svatý Jan pod Skalou
· Former baroque Benedictin monastery (nowadays a collage building)The whole hike rout you can find here.
Travel information:
We will meet at 8:35 at the Main Railway station downstairs in front of the main ticket office. Train goes at 9:05, we shall be in Beroun at 9:50 and switch to a local bus that goes at 10:05 and stops near the caves.We will go back from the village Svatý Jan pod skalou by bus which goes approx. every hour, we will see which one we would like to take.
Bring with you:
· Comfortable hiking shoes
· Jacket or some hoodie as it will be a bit cold in the caves
· Tick repellent
· Drinks and food for the picnic and cushion/little blanket to sit on :-)Cost:
Caves entrance fee is CZK 250. Travel fee is up to CZK 400.
You will not be charged any fee for the trip but any contribution for organizing and to cover the Meetup organizers fee will be welcomed (whether CZK 50, 100 or more is up to you).In case weather doesn't cooperate (rain or temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius), the hike will be shifted to another day.
