Heart Rhythm Meditation with Jeanie Underwood!

  • Apr 24, 2012 · 6:30 PM
  • The Blake Foundation

Jeanie has studied Heart Rhythm Meditation with her teachers, Puran and Susanna Bair, since 1996. Her work with Heart Rhythm Meditation and its many tools for physical, emotional and spiritual growth has had a profound impact on her personally as well as professionally. In 2007, she was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer and immediately went on a 3 week silent meditation retreat. During that time, while meditating, she felt the moment that the cancer was removed from her body and she was healed. Four months later, she was shown that it was time to leave her marriage of 37 years. Those two events were life changing, and since then, she has been completely transformed. On another retreat two years later, she was guided to leave her job as a psychotherapist and to move to Tucson, Arizona, the headquarters of the Institute for Applied Meditation and Heart Rhythm Meditation. She now devotes her life to helping people discover and enhance the physical, emotional, and spiritual power of their heart through the many meditation practices included in HRM. She is a certified Heart Rhythm Meditation teacher, web course teacher, mentor, and retreat guide. In each of these modalities, her focus is on teaching ways of applying the power of the heart to daily living and all physical, emotional, or spiritual issues which arise. In her presentation, you will learn and experience immediate tools to transform stress, anxiety, fear, and any other physical or emotional challenge which you may be facing through using your breath and heartbeat to entrain your body, mind and spirit. Through the guided meditations and dyads, some participants may be able to use these methods to have a direct experience of the Presence of God.   For more information on Hearth Rhythm Meditation, visit

A $5.00 donation is suggested, however all are welcome.

We will be meeting in the conference room at The Blake Foundation, 5704 E. Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85712. It is located just east of the Safeway shopping center at Grant and Craycroft. Please park in the rear and the side street, and please enter the rear door to the conference room. Here is the map link: The Blake Foundation map

I am very sure using my heart beat as the count for my breathing is going to bring excellent results with a regular time and place for meditation. Thanks, I had wonderful energy this am. I woke at 6 and had my whole house cleaned and ready for my granddaughter at 8:45.
