Hi there Aishling,

Thanks for posting your comments. I am an American who will be traveling to Amsterdam area at the end of March, beginning of April. I am social worker who designs community systems, and consults on how to effectively deal with emerging social problems in the 21st century.  I'll be coming from a conference in Bremen, Germany. I have never traveled to the Netherlands before, but all of my friends, and few cousins all report very positive experiences.

I love to dance, and really enjoy electronic music. I am a huge Armin Van Buuren fan, as well as Tiesto and others. I have been told that Holland is the place to be if you like this crowd. Are you familiar with any really great dancing clubs that play this sort of music, or have top djs who visit? I know that many of them will be in the states for the Winter Music Conference down in Miami, Fl, but I would suspect that most would be ready to return back home by the first week in April.

If you like to dance, and enjoy this sort of thing, perhaps we can meet up. I would be interested in any thoughts, suggestions you may have.

Hi all,

I'm bored silly these winter months and wonder does anybody know of a club or an activity in the Utrecht/Amersfoort area that has many expats?

I joined a running club for a year but when you're the only expat amongst 40 dutch people, it can be the loneliest place in the world and I'd love to be doing something where I'm interacting with people speaking english.  I'm interested in anything from a sport to dancing to a new hobby.  If you know of anything will you please e-mail me at [address removed].

Thanks and look forward to hearing from you.
Aishling
