Announcing a new Meetup for Happy Hour, Benefits, Outdoors, Networking!

What: Eco Movie Screening...

When: April 16,[masked]:15 PM

Where: (A location has not been chosen yet.)

Meetup Description: What: The Blue Marble Party Screening!
When: April 16,[masked]:15 PM
Price: $15.00 per personWhere: Goethe Institute.

Our Blue Marble Screening party is the second of a series in a series of events that make up the Latin America Series. And that's we're we take you! Our feature film - "Sharkwater," virtually takes you to the countries of El Salvador, Costa-Rica, Ecuador and Honduras! And down into their vibrant blue costal Waters.

That's right, we're going there! No passport required... And all for just $15 bucks! It would be kinda cool if you've never been! The evening will have a pre- party (including an excerpt from the recent international dc pillow fight), the feature film and a reception to follow.

Tons of music and good times celebrating Mother earth! (even a Salsa Demo!) Our feature - Sharkwater comes from Canadian biologist and photographer "Rob Stewart." With an affinity for marine ecology and the shark species in particular, Rob takes a look at the issue of Shark finning and the trade in these fins between Asia and Central America.

Why is there such a trade? And how is it anemic to the oceans....? Come find out! Learn more here:
