Announcing a new Meetup for Sierra Club - WLA Group!

What: Solstice Canyon walk to secret waterfall. Kids friendly.

Meetup Description: Lovely creek, 30 ft waterfall, mysterious ruins, hidden statue, ocean views. Kids and adults alike love Solstice Canyon. Slow paced, flat, afternoon 2 miles - 3 miles, 200 foot gain walk, at Solstice Canyon to check out the mysterious ruins and dip our feet at base of waterfall. Outing suitable for backpacked babies, and toddlers, as well as pregnant future mommies. Older kids would have much fun at the waterfall. All minors need to be accompanied by parents or legal guardians. Rain or high heat cancels. Leaders: Silvia Darie and Jeff Wilson.

Parking is free but limited, so carpooling is encouraged.

The hike is sponsored by the Crescenta Valley Group of the Sierra Club. Sierra Club requires all participants to sign a liability waiver.
