Playing with Fire - Light Painting Workshop

Hello Dear Photographers

It was a looong time since we did this workshop so I hope you will enjoy it. Time for light painting, playing with flames and sparkles. Following all the health and safety rules ;) we will teach you various techniques to create some spectacular and original photographs.

What will we be doing?

As night falls the meetup will begin...

Light painting is a technique used to light an image with a hand-held light during a long exposure.

The photograph above was created with various techniques. We will try to break it down and we will show you how to do them separately and, if the time allows, we will do a final masterpiece mixing them together.

For the grand finally, we will play with fire and sparkles !!

For who is this meetup?

The photographers of all levels are welcome.

What do YOU need to bring?

Tripod !!! + shutter release cable or intervalometer (although you will survive without having one, it will be very helpful) + torches, colourful led lights, sparkles, Jedi lightsabers ..., any light sources (the more colourful the better effect you will get) + standard lens + warm underwear :) + some money for a drink after a meetup.

How long will the meetup be?

Approx. 2,5h + (if the time allows) a drink/coffee/eat in one of the local bars to discuss the meetup, photographs taken and future meetups.

Does it cost anything?
Fee: 10 euro (organizing fee + special fx materials)
