What's so special about joining Glasgow IVC instead of just being a Meetup member?

It only costs from £7.50 per annum to join!

Meetup pages only show five events at a time. Click on More Meetups at the bottom of the page to see more events. Or simply click on Our Calendar in the left hand column to see all our events.

Membership will give you access to the monthly Grapevine newsletter with additional events (e.g. we never post events in members' homes on Meetup) or events which were not posted on Meetup and members' contact details. As a full member you will also be entitled to discounts on costs for some events.

The IVC is a very friendly club. Members have made lasting friendships, gone on holidays and short breaks.... some have even got married! You will have a chance to get to know people better, since IVC is less transient than the Meetups.

How do you join as a full member?

Simply attend two events within three months and ask any full member present to pass your details on. You will be sent a tear off form to sign. Alternatively you can download a form form Files under the More tab above, which, once completed, can be emailed or posted (if you have printed a hard copy). On receipt of this form and subscription you will be given organiser status with full access to the Meetup GlasgowIVC site and newsletter. To pay via PayPal send £7.50 to treasurer@glasgowivc.org.uk

What is IVC?

IVC clubs are part of a UK wide network, the Association of Inter Varsity Clubs (AIVC) .

Members are covered by insurance. See more details on Message Board.

Glasgow IVC is a self run club that runs regular weekend and evening events. We rely on our members to volunteer and run the club events between us. This provides opportunities to engage in a wide range of social, cultural and recreational activities in the Glasgow area.
