In this meetup we will have Oriol Vinzia, CEO of GymForLess, a platform that offers users the flexibility of access to different gyms and sports centers without registration or permanence. Through the free GymForLess App, users can discover by geo-location the gyms available around them. Currently there are more than 1,500 gyms, yoga studios, spas, sports clubs, boutiques, and many more. GymForLess is one of the successful catalan startups and last year was sold to one of the leaders of the sector in quality of life services.
We will also have the pleasure of having Albert Marco, CEO at SoCourt, a unique solution to conveniently capture video replays of sport games and events using just your smartphone. With a high-convenient user interface designed so you never miss an important action again, it also works with your smart watch for always-available remote control. Beyond practitioners, SoCourt is also platform supporting the needs of sports trainers, clubs and media professionals, with fully integrated support for multiple cameras, match progress metadata, sponsoring, social media and much more.
Do you like the sports data analysis? Pivot Analysis provides the basketball community, from the scouts and agents to the players and coaches, with an advanced data platform and custom web applications. Using the latest technologies in data visualization and an AI-powered data processing engine, the CEO Morgan Flom will explain us how Pivot Analysis offer users with access to all their stats, advanced and traditional, in a hyper-intuitive mobile friendly interface.
For the fans of VR/AR experiences, in our next panel we will meet Xavier Conesa, from Visyon360, an international innovation services company providing immersive experiences through the latest emerging technologies. Xavier will present Visyon360’s proposal for VR-eSports and also their football VR project in collaboration with Emirates and La Liga.
And continuing with the eSports world, Victor Casanovas is the digital strategist at SevenMila, a sports marketing agency, with more than 15 years creating unique events and working within the latest trends in sports. Four years ago, SecanMila invested into eSports by acquiring KIYF eSports Club, which has allowed them to have complete insider visibility into this new ecosystem, while simultaneously realizing the full impact potential of SevenMila within this new industry. As an agency, they provide services for Orange, Pepsico Group and other mass consumer brands and they run Origen BCN that competes professionally at LVP League of Legends (LoL) league.
Finally Josep M. Monti, CEO of Atry, will be giving us an update on the progress of project HUB23 which aims to propel Barcelona as the European leader city in hosting Sports and eSports startups. Between others, HUB23 will be materialized with "arena" or "Pier01 of sports", focusing on shared services for sports, including labs, media rooms, coordinated mentoring, VC mediation and many others. We will share exiting news with partnerships and much more, and we will be kicking-off an open call for support so you can also join us in this great initiative!
