  • WooSesh (WooCommerce) FREE Live Online Conference

    Lugar por decidir

WooSesh (https://woosesh.com/) is like the WooSesh conference we just had in September in that it is a FREE, live, virtual conference. This one, though, is focused on the WooCommerce eCommerce plugin and its extensions. And it's so packed with info that it takes two days to get through it all! Don't miss it. This Meetup event is only online. Register and see the schedule at https://woosesh.com/. We're not meeting in a physical place because it's all day BUT this one starts at normal times in U.S. time zones. As with WordSesh, at WooSesh you'll be rewarded with lots of great tips and information about WordPress and WooCommerce. Our Slack channel will be a great place to chat about what we're all learning in this virtual conference. Join the channel at https://bit.ly/wowpslack and then join the #wordsesh channel for the discussion. Can't make it on October 9-10th? Not a problem! Every presentation will be recorded and available to WPSessions Members for viewing at your convenience shortly after the live event ends. Oh, and don't forget to spread the word! Watching with friends is fun.

  • Coffee and WordPress Collaboration Meetup at Axum Coffee

This is a morning meeting on the first Friday of each month for collaboration and help with WordPress. We can ask questions of each other, discuss projects, or follow up from a prior meeting. This is meant to be a helpful and low key way to share knowledge and experiences. Here’s what you’ll need for an optimal experience: 1. Charge up and bring your laptop, logins, and notebook 2. Know that there are some WordPress issues that need more time to resolve. So, we may run out of time before your problem is fixed. 3. Money for a drink or food from Axum Coffee in return for letting us use their space to collaborate. There is plenty of free public parking in the parking garage at 160 S Boyd St, and it's just a one minute walk from parking to Axum Coffee. If there are a lot of attendees and the weather is good, we sometimes move our group to the patio seating behind Axum. Otherwise, just look for us inside. We'll be the ones talking loudly and wildly gesticulating as we discuss WordPress plugins, blogging, site management, online business, you name it. If there is lots of interest, we will be limiting the attendee and invited guest counts for RSVP so as to not overwhelm Axum’s space with too many people from just our group. A waiting list will be established once we reach the limit. Thanks! See you all there!

Don't miss this one! The legal risks of websites not being ADA compliant are becoming increasingly expensive! Please RSVP. A pre-meeting social begins at 5:30 pm at 33 & Melt just next door to ScribbleSpace. The presentation begins at 6pm at ScribbleSpace.
