Let's kickoff Udemy "Python for Data Science and Machine Learning Bootcamp"
Agenda (unlike earlier meetups, we start at 6:15pm for this one) : 6:00 pm - 6:15 pm : Meet and greet with Pizzas 6:15 pm - 6:30 pm : Meetup announcements 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm : Sections 1-8 discussion -- Udemy course "Python for Data Science and Machine Learning Bootcamp" We request you to keep your RSVP updated if your plans to attend change. [RSVP yes only if you plan to attend in person] Thank you, Science Logic, for being a sponsor - facility and food. Thank you to Doug Rohde from Science Logic for helping facilitate the room availability. Let's continue our Deep Learning journey after Andrew's two-session primer to Deep Learning and Santosh's uber-interesting talk on Brain Computing Interfaces (BCI). We will surely have more talks from both of them in the near future (in 2019!). One of our other objectives for this meetup is co-learning as a data community. We would like to kick that off with this Udemy course "Python for Data Science and Machine Learning Bootcamp" Link: Nov 29th session will focus on Section 1 through 8 this week. Section 1 : Course Introduction Section 2 : Environment Set-Up Section 3 : Jupyter Overview Section 4 : Python Crash Course Section 5 : Python for Data Analysis - NumPy Section 6 : Python for Data Analysis - Pandas Section 7 : Python for Data Analysis - Pandas Exercises Section 8 : Python for Data Visualization - Matplotlib How to Participate? Please register and complete these sections prior to the meetup. We want these sessions to be interactive instead of a single person tutoring. Please come prepared with questions, issues with setup of environment, coding questions related to these specific sections. If you would like to volunteer to lead one or more of these eight sections - please message the organizers or leave a message here. Please consider signing up as volunteers!! Word of advice: Watch out for course coupons to buy the course at a nominal price. If anyone has coupons, please do share - the attendees will much appreciate the gesture.

Lo que hacemos

NOVA Deep Learning is a group for anyone interested in meeting to discuss the concepts and technologies associated with Deep Learning. It will be a collaborative learning forum where everyone aids each other’s growth in this very specific domain. We will also have the “regular” meetup every quarter at a minimum (to begin with) – that is, with speakers who are experts in the Deep Learning space and have interesting stories to share. In addition, we will hold additional meetups around the learning of Deep Learning.

All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to participate and influence the direction of the group.
