• Encuentro internacional

    Trovit Search

It is a useful assistant to all everyday PHP programmers which helps with clearly visualizing and logging errors, dumping variables and a lot more. Filip Prochazka – Value Objects in PHP With PHP 7.1+ comes the era of strictly typed PHP, allowing for safer and more reliable applications. But let’s not forget the good old Value Object, because not everything is just a plain string or integer. Honza Kuchar – Enums with behaviour Domain model encapsulates data and behaviour (Fowler). Every model has data. Behaviour is often omitted and lives outside of model (in user manual for example). This enumeration keeps behaviour inside of your domain model. Y por fin gracias a TROVIT ya tenemos local, bebidas y comida.

    Ironhack Campus BCN

Please RSVP on IronHack Meetup page: https://www.meetup.com/ironhack-barcelona/events/236992788/ ------------------------------------------------------------- • Developing with Yii Framework (1 and 2) plus some good practices Did you ever wished to use a framework with a great balance between its learning curve and its capabilities? Yii is the answer to your wish because it gets out of your way. As developers we generally have two main goals: - We want to build a great web application - We don't want to die trying Yii provides developers the solution to help them accomplish their goals. Yii is: - Easier to learn and use than other frameworks - Rapid development (sick of docs you can't understand? of too much configs? too many compilations?) - Full featured framework (even if it's easy, it gives you more than you'll need!) - High performance (it's fast, both in production or development mode, so neither your computer or your VPS will have to suffer) What we will see in this talk: - Understanding the philosophy behind Yii - Learning the basics of Yii Framework 1 and its possibilities - Comparing the differences between Yii 1 and Yii 2 Both Yii Framework 1 and 2 share a common philosophy but in this talk we will focus on Yii Framework 1 because it has been a stable framework for many years and by its nature has a less complex way of doing things that will speed up your development. (that's good for deadlines!) We will also introduce Yii2 that will be the one to focus on for the long term because of its implementation of latest modern day tools. So whatever your reason is, either if you never worked with a PHP framework, or you're not happy with the one you use, or you're a freak that wants to use 20 frameworks or simply want learn about Yii's ways, you're welcome to jump in! • PHP Barcelona Meetup - Ma(yo?|ig) 2016

    Skyscanner’s offices

For this meetup we will have two talks: • Loosely coupled DDD - Juan Angosto (@juanangosto) software engineer. Everyone and his mother nowadays is charmed by DDD, but it's so easy to couple yourself into the mermaid song of a framework... At ofertix.com we are refactoring our codebase following the DDD principles while fighting against our beloved Symfony for some space, like a marriage. So the talk would drive from basic DDD principles to how easy is to couple yourself into the framework, then how to prevent the framework to taint the domain layer and finally how to put it at the service of the application. • Logging like a boss with monolog (lighting talk: 10-15 minutes) - Tudor Barbu (@montanelu) software engineer. Logging is a challenge. Too many entries and it becomes too difficult to handle. Too few and it's useless. This talk will explore some (hidden) gems monolog offers that allow us to log the information we need when we need it! ------------------------------------------------------------- Access Control (IMPORTANT) The office doors will be open for attendees from 19:00. Access to the building is controlled so we are going to provide security with the attendees list. Please make sure you have your full name - first and last - in your profile. Users without their full name may be denied entry. ------------------------------------------------------------- We are always looking for speakers, so if you have something that you'd like to share with the community, please submit a talk by opening a issue on this github repository - https://github.com/phpbarcelona/meetup-speakers/issues Logging like a boss with monolog (lighting talk: 10-15 minutes)Tudor BarbuLogging is a challenge.
