Hyde Park is a quaint and leafy residential area with homes dating back to Victorian times, many of which have been extensively expanded or remodeled. **We'll meet in the parking lot of Fresh Plus Grocery at 408 E. 43rd St.** and walk through the neighborhood for an hour and a half (about 3 miles). This is an easy, flat walk on city streets. Wear good walking shoes and bring water. And please consider if you are in shape for this kind of walk, for your own safety and in consideration of others. Casual open play pickleball for all levels, including beginners. Equipment: You will need to purchase a paddle, or you can rent one from the front desk. We play with “outdoor” balls. Usually our group has some but it’s a good idea to bring them just in case. I highly recommend wearing a good quality court shoe and comfortable athletic wear.
