Hi JUGgers !!!! eyy, no time to sleep !!!! here we have another event... for the next week!
We know we have other plans next week (http://www.barcelonajug.org/2015/09/aeron-martin-thomson.html), but we could not say no to the Drools & jBPM team (cause they will come to Barcelona next week), in order to invite them to give us a talk about what they are doing and how ;-)
Because of that, we have the pleasure to invite you next 6th of October focused on Drools and the jBPM ecosystem that will be hosted in La Fontana (http://www.lafontana.org/) at 7pm.
In this session the main Drools and jBPM team will give an overview of the Drools (http://www.drools.org/) rule engine, the OptaPlanner (http://www.optaplanner.org/) scheduling engine, the jBPM workflow engine (http://www.jbpm.org/) and the Workbench web application that ties it all together for business users.
Drools (http://www.drools.org/) is a Business Rules Management System (BRMS) solution. It provides a core Business Rules Engine (BRE).
OptaPlanner (http://www.optaplanner.org/) is a constraint satisfaction solver. It optimizes business resource planning. Use cases include (http://www.optaplanner.org/learn/useCases/vehicleRoutingProblem.html)Vehicle Routing, Employee Rostering, Job Scheduling, Bin Packing, Cloud Optimization and more.
jBPM (http://www.jbpm.org/) is a flexible Business Process Management (BPM) Suite. It makes the bridge between business analysts and developers. Traditional BPM engines have a focus that is limited to non-technical people only. jBPM has a dual focus: it offers process management features in a way that both business users and developers like it.
KIE Workbench (https://github.com/droolsjbpm/kie-wb-distributions/tree/master/kie-wb) is the webapp that ties it all together. It’s based on Uberfire (http://www.uberfireframework.org/), Errai and Dashbuilder (http://www.dashbuilder.org/).
We would like to have you all onboard on this event, but unfortunately we have a limited space, and because of that we need to ask to RSVP'ed in our event in Meetup.
Hope to see you next 6th!
