We're happy you've joined!

The goal of the DFW Christian Singles Ministry is to promote opportunities for ministry, fellowship, and friendship among single Christians in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Safety of our members is important. So we can recognize you at events we ask your profile be a picture of you clearly showing your face. Please do not use logos or group pictures.

We hope to fill in the gap if:

-your church doesn't have a singles ministry
-your singles ministry doesn't have regular activities
-the singles ministry in your church is mainly outside your age range
-you don't have a church home
-you want to meet new people and make new friends

We meet in the Fort Worth-Arlington-Mansfield-Grand Prairie-MidCities areas and plan various activities throughout the month.

WE ARE A MEMBER-DRIVEN GROUP ... meaning our members can post events on our calendar. Whether you're in Crowley or Coppell, post an event and connect with people in your area and beyond.

Matthew 6:33
Seek God first. This group doesn't focus on dating or spouse-hunting. You are God's partner, complete as you are, and your single status gives you the opportunity to be of greater use to God.

What do we look like?

We come in all shapes, sizes, and colors, and attend various churches around the DFW area. The age range is 40s-60s. We have a great mix of men and women with various backgrounds, experiences, and spiritual gifts. Some have been married; others not.

Afraid of being the "new person?"

25-50% who attend events are first-timers. Within minutes you'll feel like you've been part of the group for years.

We encourage our members and visitors to bring non-Christian friends since we are 24/7 evangelists. From Rick Warren's devotional:

> On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick …. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Matthew 9:12–13 (NIV)

"Jesus’ actions teach us that our witness to non-believers starts with friendship: We earn the right to share the gospel through relationship, where we show that we care about the person.

"The apostle Paul encourages us to find common ground with non-believers. Finding common ground is an act of friendship; it guides us to look for the positive instead of the negative in those outside the faith.
"When Jesus met the woman at the well, he pointed to what they had in common rather than the things he could rightfully condemn (John 4). As a result, she not only became friends with God, she brought her friends and family into the presence of Jesus."

However .... We do not compromise our values; all gatherings in private homes are alcohol-free. We have the opportunity to show non-Christians that Christians can have fun!
