*Note: While we hope to hold in person meetings in the future we currently only meet virtually.

Our peer support group meets virtually using the Zoom platform. While we appreciate the need and desire to hold in person meetings, our reach is greater with virtual meetings, and we do not currently have the resources to add another meeting, in person or otherwise. This is one of the reasons for the fundraiser.

Once we have met you, we will also invite you into our virtual community. Our online space has enabled our members to arrange virtual and in person social activities independently of this groups activities and also allows for us to share resources quickly and easily.

We operate as an all volunteer, peer run, support group for autistic adults. Our goal is to offer a safe space for peer discussion and to foster a sense of community and belonging.

We are not a curriculum based support group with a goal of recovery.
If you have been to a curriculum based group before, then this will look and feel different.

We do not believe that being autistic inherently means that anything is wrong with you.
Our group focuses on self-growth and improvement, and we draw from our collective knowledge in order to do so.

We do provide structure.
Our meetings are structured to direct a conversation around a topic that is meaningful to us. The discussion topics are generated by the group. This does not mean we can necessarily discuss every topic requested, but we do our best to meet the groups needs.

Message either Jeremy or Greg about volunteering your time to help support our community. We will try and work with your strengths the best that we can.
