Ukuleles Canberra - aka URoC (Ukulele Republic of Canberra)

This Rehearsal is of the songs that will be used in the Uke Muster at the Folk Festival. Those attending this rehearsal include those performing at the NFF for URoC and other members who are going to the NFF and want to help with the singalong at the Uke Muster each morning of the NFF.

This rehearsal is only for those who have been selected to perform at the Gang Gang Twang. Other opportunities for performing include the CAP (Connect and Participate) performance in May.

Regular Kanikapila Monthly Meeting Kanikapila - Hawaiian style jam session (from kani 'sound' and pila 'stringed instrument'). We go round the circle and you have the choice of: Choosing a song from our song book for us all to sing; Introducing a new song to the group (bring extra copies of songsheets); Performing a prepared item; Passing (try not to do this too much, please!). There will be a short break for a cool drink.
