## Esperanto Conversation Meetup + Article Discussion

Join us for an in-person evening meetup of the Esperanto Society of New York! All levels are welcome — whether you're fluent or just starting out.
This time, we’ll be reading and discussing a thought-provoking article from UNESCO Kuriero titled "Reimagataj muzeoj". Our focus will be on a quote from historian Krzysztof Pomian, who writes:

> "La muzeo agas kiel templo de kredo je la estonteco."
> (“The museum acts like a temple of faith in the future.”)

What does it mean to preserve objects from the past with the belief that they will be meaningful later? Whose future is being celebrated — and whose is being left out? We’ll explore how museums shape cultural memory, ideology, and public imagination, with time to practice speaking and share personal reflections.
