Marius Stan is a physicist and chemist at Argonne National Laboratory, University of Chicago, and Northwestern University. Calling both scientists and movie makers creators driven by curiosity, Stan will discuss how, though using vastly different methods, they are passionate communicators of ideas and emotions. The interplay between cinema and science will be illustrated by clips from movies and computer simulations. Please join us for Coffee Hour after the talk. All are welcome to our Sunday programs, which are free and open to the public, and childcare is available. For more information, please visit ethicalhuman.org.
