Philosopher's Series: The Changing Nature of Work in the Age of AI

Details

Today's talk by Leader Curt Collier kicks off our three-week Philosopher's Series, offering food for thought from noted philosophers as well as brunch!

Curt, who also teaches Ethics and Philosophy of Science at Fairleigh Dickinson University, will explore how our ideas about work and labor have evolved—and what they might look like in the age of artificial intelligence.

This discussion will trace the philosophical roots of the American labor system while examining emerging ethical challenges.
Curt will be joined by participants in the Society’s Summer Youth Employment Program, who will offer fresh, real-world perspectives.
