Are you a Euchre lover? Midwest transplant? Card enthusiast? or just looking to make more friends? If so, you've found your group! We welcome all skill levels of play and strive to be a fun inclusive group. We play at various locations around the city on different nights of the week, including some weekend meetups.
In-Person Playing Guidelines:
· Initial deal decided by "1st Black Jack"
· Cards are dealt in clockwise order
· Person to the left of the dealer starts play
· No Deal Stealing
· No Partners Best, Farmers Hands or 9’s & 10s
· Stick the dealer
· Players MUST rotate, we don’t allow partners to stay together
Points:
Bidding Team wins 3 or 4 tricks = 1pt
Bidding Team Wins 5 tricks = 2pts
Going alone and wins 3 or 4 tricks = 1pt
Going alone and wins 5 tricks = 4pts
Euchred: Non-bidding team wins 3 or more tricks = 2pts

Hello Euchre Enthusiasts – We’re headed back to the Irish Channel Restaurant & Pub in Chinatown, a fairly new venue for us.
Please RSVP to indicate your attendance and HONOR YOUR RSVP. If your plans change and you are unable to attend, please update your RSVP. Regular no-show or late notices may get you dropped from the group. It is important that we are able to provide an accurate count to the venue (really important for this meetup since it's only our 3rd time there) and that all people who want to AND are able to attend are able to do so.
We ask all attendees to pay $1 to participate in the meetup. This money helps maintain our meetup membership & cover various meetup costs that arise. You can pay $1 on Venmo @amanda-uherek, via Pay-Pal, or in-person (please choose paying friend/family not a business, good or service).
REMINDER: everyone is responsible for their own tabs. If you have questions / comments / suggestions please message us. We'll have hand sanitizer & decks of cards on hand.

Before it gets to hot, we are headed back to one of the group's favorite spots, Ivy and Coney located in the Shaw neighborhood. Closest metro stations are Shaw-Howard (3 block walk) or Mt Vernon (a slightly longer walk). (For those interested the group recommends the Detroit Pizza and the Coney Dogs.)
Please be mindful of the start and end times (6:30-9:30 pm) of this meetup. Click on RSVP to indicate that you are attending so we can work with the bar so we have a good idea as to head count. HONOR YOUR RESERVATION -- this venue is quite popular and we typically have a waitlist for events here, update your RSVP accordingly if needed.
