Welcome to Ex Libris! We are now into our SIXTH YEAR of books and intelligent discussion. Thanks for taking an interest in learning more about this great group of men and women!

Ex Libris is a CO-ED book club for everyone who loves to read books of substance and who is willing to participate and discuss the themes and issues our titles focus on. We're a diverse group of readers; each with our own input, opinion, and outlook on the selected books. We meet up monthly at various locations around the Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale area. This book club is not intended for fluff; we want good reads, quality reads, thought-provoking reads.

For a listing of the books we have discussed since 2008, please click this link HERE

For more information click HERE for our group statement and links to upcoming reads, and member rules and guidelines. If you feel that you'd make a great asset to the group and are interested, please join us!!!

I also want to add that there is no education prerequisite to join this group. Ex Libris isn't concerned about where you went to school or how many degrees you hold or how much smarter you are than everyone else. If you enjoy reading; if you enjoy trying something new; if you enjoy challenging yourself, then Ex Libris welcomes you with open arms. No one will ever think you're "stupid" or "trying too hard" or any other pretentious derogatory word to demean someone. Ex Libris isn't about feeling superior to anyone. We're just here to read great books, good books, and sometimes downright AWFUL books in good company.
