Pub crawl with the British expats

  • Nov 16, 2012 · 7:30 PM

Hi all

We are going to have a joint pub crawl with our friend in the Paris British ex pats meet up on Friday 16th November starting at 1930!
It should be a great evening and a chance to meet up some new people.

Okay here is the list of the pubs...(relax they are all close to each other and you don't need to go to all of them so you can drop in at any point). We are going to keep to the timing as much as possible.

1930: Le Gentleman (3 Rue Hautefeuille, 6eme near Metro Odeon or St Michel)..a proper student pub with very cheap beer. Try to get there on time as it will get busy from 8pm. We will leave at 8.30pm

2045: The Coolin (Metro Mabillion) nice big Irish bar, which i am sure most people have been to! we will leave here at 2200.

2215: The Highlander: just down the road (6 rue de Nevers Metro Pont Neuf) This is a friendly Scottish pub and we'll be there for a quick drink, around 45 min.

2300: The Great Canadian, just around the corner from the Highlander on the Quai, it serves food as well in case you are peckish by this stage.

0030: a bit of food on Rue huchette?

0100: The Galway just along the Quai by St Michel, another nice Irish pub to round off the evening.

Very late and even later: Café le depart.. for those who would liek another one or wait for the 1st Metro Café le depart it is, just by St Michel on the Quai.

This should be a great evening and a chance to meet up with the lovely people at Brit meet up.

See you on Friday

    Hi all

Don't forget your warm jacket and hat for tonight, its a bit cold outside! (bad Irish "joke", Birr, it is Offaly cold outside, ok it isn't really that funny). For those who haven't met me before I'll have an Ireland rugby jersey so just find the green jersey and say hello! Looking forward to seeing you tonight. Just as a reminder we will be trying to keep to the times so if you are going to join us later on we should arrive to the pubs roughly at the time we mentioned (say within 10min). I'll try to check the comments box here during the night so if you want to send me a note via meet up please do.
    See you all later!
