Salon member Suzi Shapiro will teach this hands-on workshop that will get you up to speed on UX basics such as user testing and user research. Suzi is a professor at IU East and has been working in human factors for more than 20 years.
This course is a benefit of being part of the UX Salon. Similar courses might cost between $300 and $1000. This one? A mere 20 bucks.

Why it is worth your time to do at least some testing. How to do what you absolutely need to do. How to figure out what it means. How to share the results without being ignored. How to know what should be done next and who should do it. What we will do
Learn elements of doing a usability test Try out doing some testing of designs Discuss how you might integrate testing into the process you currently use. Because of the interactive nature of the workshop, space is limited to 12 attendees. So RSVP early!
This workshop will include lunch and snacks in the morning. Participants can decide if they want to keep the conversation going over dinner (not provided) after the workshop.
