Hi everyone!

We’re having our Portfolio Review Night as a follow up to our Portfolio Workshop at the last Meetup! This review night is for everyone – UXers, soon-to-be UXers, those that couldn’t make the workshop, those that did, and recruiters!

Come bring your portfolio – in whatever shape it’s in* – and share it with your UX peers and visual designers to get constructive feedback. Don’t worry; this won’t be the 3rd grade style, awkward “show-and-tell in front of everyone” event. It’ll be rather laid back, where you can walk around, talk to portfolio “experts” (those that have them and screen them), solicit advice, give advice, network for a new job, etc. The Rock Creek UX Team will be on hand to provide portfolio advice based on the portfolio workshop we had a few months back.

If you're showing your portfolio on a laptop or tablet, we'll have wi-fi available.

To plan out the next few events, we’ll also be looking for ideas from you about potential topics to cover for workshops, panel discussions, and other amazing events.

Location
We're metro accessible! Rock Creek Strategic Marketing is right off of the red line. Take the red line to Friendship Heights and exit at the Western Ave. side. At the top of the escalator you'll be at this atrium with lots of entrances, walk straight toward the Western Ave. exit. Once above ground, take the escalators on the right and walk across the patio. We're on the 10th floor.

We're at 2 Wisconsin Circle, Chevy Chase, MD. The parking garage in the building offers $3 parking after 5pm. We’re on the 10th floor.
