Congratulations to Elizabeth this month for her beautiful iPhone image of Half Dome! A real testament to the smartphone technology that is all around us today. Unbelievably, it’s June already, that great time of year that signifies the beginning of summer vacations, backyard barbeques and living outside. And more than likely there will be a county fair or festival coming your way this month. Fairs are a great source for a variety of photography, so I hope you have the time to get out and do some creative shots. An album, “At The Fair” has been posted, so start being creative! Post up to THREE photos only and please read and follow the Photo Study guidelines.

Announcing a new photo album, “ADD YOUR OWN CAPTION!”. Check it out, this is just for fun, so if you have a photograph that could use a funny or original caption, add it to the album. The only rules here are that if you add an image, please add a caption to someone else’s, and do not post anything offensive!

Amazingly enough, as I am writing this we have rolled over to 500 members!! Congratulations to Janice Sproull for officially becoming our 500th member! And welcome to all our new members since last month!

Please note that June will be a month of “self-guided” events, as I will not be available to attend. I hope you enjoy the locations, and I look forward to seeing the images that are posted.
