Now What? Crucial Skills for a Chaotic World

  • *This is a special multi-meetup event.

    Has the world gone crazy?

That is certainly how it feels.

Whether you voted for Hillary, Trump or Bernie, we have all experienced more than one “WTF” moment during the 2016 U.S. election and the days that have followed.

Climate change, terrorism, mass shootings, Fukashima, racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, refugees, immigration, population growth, world hunger…I could go on….

    ...it’s daunting.

In fact, it could be argued that we are at a critical point in the very continuation of our species.

Despite our best efforts as good people who want a better world… what we have been doing isn’t working.

Are you willing to let go of your version of a better world in order to actually create one?

We need completely new perspectives, new approaches, and more than anything a new set of skills appropriate for the challenges that face us.

    We need a “humanware” upgrade.

Join us for an evening of deep dialogue and skill building using a new framework that gives us a map and effective tools for building a world that is even better than we imagine.

    _________________________________________

In this evening we will explore two big dynamics that are currently at play in our society:

    Power & Polarity

We have become a very polarized culture, as clearly seen in our current elections. We have extreme worldviews fighting each other, while trying to dominate changes in policy, culture and the future. It’s an epic power struggle that just keeps generating more and more polarity. We are collectively in a “Chinese finger puzzle” where the more we struggle against it, the tighter it gets.

There is a way out! Using a simple framework that clarifies how and why we are in this “mess” – and how to use it to move forward – we can learn a new way together. We can fearlessly create a vibrant future for everyone.

    In this class you will:

    • ∙  Gain new “aha!” perspectives on current events

    • ∙  Learn how to amplify your power and effectiveness in implementing change

    • ∙  Create paradigm-shifting solutions

    We will explore:

    • ∙  3 levels of Power and how they are currently playing out in the world

    • ∙  How to consciously shift your own “power stance” in order to be more effective

    • ∙ The 5 stages of Polarity, and how to identify where you are

    • ∙  How shifting your relationship with Power and Polarity opens up unseen potentials, insights and creative solutions
