More Guys wanted for this Saturdays Piha/Anawhata bush and stream bash .

Hello all  ..Happy New Year !

Hope you're enjoying the summer holidays and this awesome city of Auckland.

This note is for our male members of Feet First , particularly the active, adventurous men ! .

If you're a new guy member to this group, or you haven't  been with us for awhile,  then consider coming out this Saturday for a truly adventure hike on our men only event .

Get some time out form the ladies, and your other responsibilities and keep cool this Saturday ,as there will be plenty of opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the stream or some excellent wilderness photographs such as the ones pictured here/

We are going to one of my favourites areas of back country in the Waitakere Ranges hiking in the Piha and Anawhata Beaches that are alongside the mighty Tasman Sea which we do several times a year.

From Piha Beach, we hike up through bush for and hour , go over fields of green paddocks, and then follow a rough road down to the middle section of the Anawhata Stream, and then follow a rough track of sorts, criss crossing the stream for about 3 hours and take a dip in some water holes for lunch, and  then continue through more bush to reach Anawhata Beach, then return to piha via official tracks and get a beer or a cold drink at the Piha Café.

So..Yes, this is just for the Men in our group, however its an opportunity to meet some new guys...get wet feet and challenge yourself climbing around rocks, and pushing yourself through the bush where most of the public never get to.

Anyway, see all the details online if you're interested.

We just hike, that's all. No touchy feely stuff.

It's not to late to RSVP too, and if you live in the city, or Newmarket, I have 3 spaces in my car and can pick you up about 8 am.

The next open to all hike I will be leading will be in February.

All the best.  Have a fab day.

Cheers Stephen F.
