😋Fogo de Chão’s salad bar has become my new cheap dining addiction in Pasadena. This is a poor girl’s feast!! Such a fabulous deal when you’re hungry and on a budget. Every girl loves a deal! If you know of one please share in comments for a future event.

Personally, I’ve never experienced a salad bar of this quality for this price EVER in L.A.!! This isn’t a Sizzler or old Soup Plantation type of salad bar. Anna & I enjoyed lunch here (her suggestion) a few weeks ago and I was BLOWN AWAY not only over the fabulous food feast but also over the gorgeous location.

🏦What makes Pasadena Fogo de Chão so special is location, location, location!! It opened in 2022 in the old Pacific Southwest Trust & Savings Bank building, a historic 8-story renaissance revival-style building completed 100 years ago in 1925. Designed by the firm Curlett & Beelman, it was the largest commercial building in the city upon completion and features a facade of granite, brick, and terra cotta. Once you enter the beautiful tree design glass doors you will be taken back by the grandeur of the former historic bank elements plus their own renovations. The interior materials consist of marble, wood, and Florentine-style painted surfaces. It’s absolutely beautiful!! Check out my photos.

The Pasadena location features an expansive dining room centered around an open-air churrasco grill. The interior also has soaring wine cases, a white Carrara marble Market Table, dry-aged meat lockers for in-house aging, two private dining rooms, and an indoor Bar Fogo area.

Founded in 1979 in Southern Brazil, Fogo is known for its elevation of the centuries-old churrasco cooking technique, which consists of roasting high-quality cuts of meat over an open flame.

The restaurant quickly gained popularity and expanded throughout Brazil, with the first international location opening in Dallas, Texas, in 1997 (U.S. Headquarter) at the request of American tourists who loved the experience. The brand has since grown to over 70 locations worldwide, including in the United States, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Mexico.

Visit as often as you like. Includes a naturally gluten-free array of seasonal salads, black pepper candied bacon (my fave), exotic fruit (pomegranate my fave), nutrient-dense superfoods, feijoada (black bean stew with sausage and rice), cheeses, charcuterie meats and more!! Years ago I went to Beverly Hills Fogo de Chão for dinner but didn’t realize they had the weekday salad bar for only $18.

A burger combo anywhere you go will cost you $14 to $16. This is a F-E-A-S-T!! 😛
