Can Performance Change the World? September 30- October 3, 2010, New York City
Performing artists, community organizers, theatre workers, educators, scholars, youth workers, students, social workers, psychotherapists, psychologists, medical doctors, health workers, and business executives are coming from 31 countries to discuss/perform that question and their responses to it.

to activism or align themselves with a cause by first identifying with a
community of those with shared experiences, then become empowered by voicing
their personal narratives before taking action within their communities.? This workshop will help attendees find
their own path to activism in the form of their choice, and will provide
community building, self-empowerment/motivational performance exercises, as
well as action ideas.?? ?
