We are Registered as a Group, for the Mardi Gras Parade. You may bring as many ferrets as you wish to bring. You will not receive a T-Shirt. If you want one you can buy one for $15.00. To order one you may email [masked]
You have to bring with you a copy of your ferret's Rabies Certificate. They keep the Rabies Certificates.
DO NOT Check In. I (Jimi Hummel) did the registration, so my name is the contact name. I will Check in for HAFA.To give everyone enough time to get there I will not check in until 12:15 PM. Please get a copy of your ferret's Rabies Certificate to me by that time.
We will be walking 20 blocks. Put your ferrets in something that they will be comfortable in and is either on wheels or you can carry comfortably. Also have a water supply for your Ferrets.
We will be throwing Beads. Jack & Sherry have paid for these. If you would like to help pay for the beads you might give Jack or Sherry a couple of bucks.
This is an outdoor event bring, a cloth to cover the top of your cage, a Spray Bottle of water, Ice Pack, Ice Pack Cover, Battery Operated Fan, and a Thin Cloth, all for keeping the ferrets cool.
I-45 S becomes Broadway St/Ave J/TX-87 N. Go Straight on Broadway. Turn RT onto 25TH St/Rosenburg St. There is a Large Statue in the middle of the Intersection. Find a Parking Place as close to 28th and the Seawall as you can. Walk to the Check In Point. Look for our Group.
