Dia de los Muertos Event at the Congressional Cemetery

The Day of the Dead in Mexico is a time to remember, honor and celebrate those who have come before us and acknowledge death as a natural part of the cycle of life.

Join us to learn about Mexican culture, help create a community ofrenda [commemorative altar, as in the photo], make paper flowers and paint sugar skulls.

Bring photos and mementos of those you miss to add to the display!

The event runs from 11 to 3, and we plan to be there at least from 11 to 12 (Patricia needs to leave then but Alison will likely stay longer). We can also meet earlier for coffee nearby if you're interested -- please include your cell number and we will coordinate!
