Figure drawing sessions are located at either Free Range Brewery (NoDa Location), or McColl Center in Charlotte, NC.
We offer live model in-person figure drawing sessions. These sessions do not offer instruction. Guidance and critiques can be given if requested. This is more of a space for artists to come and work on their style. Beginners are welcome. Please also realize this is not a space to gawk; this is a place of business. At this studio, there is a Model Bill of Rights that I ask every person to read and sign. The Bill of Rights reminds artists that we are working with a human being, not a lamp, and a friendly reminder of appropriate behavior.
Our figure drawing sessions and timing of the postures vary on location and instructor. Details on the schedules are listed per location.
Drawing supplies such as drawing horses and easels are offered on a first-come, first-serve bases.
Professionalism is welcomed, silliness is required.
