What we're about

“The number one problem in today’s generation and economy is lack of financial literacy.” Alan Greenspan

This group is here to provide financial education, primarily for individuals but also for businesses. There is nobody more interested in your financial future than you, so it's to your advantage to learn how money works. By understanding how money works, you can be in control of your financial future for both your family and your business.

Many families today are broken due to financial stress. People work hard all their lives, but still retire poor...if they can afford to retire at all. We're told to get an education and work hard to get ahead, but we go through years of education just to finish college with a lot of debt, which becomes a way of life.

Only a handful of states require financial education in schools, and financial concepts are not often discussed at home. In fact, many people have trouble balancing a bank statement or reading a financial statement. They use credit cards every day and don't understand compound interest. They contribute to their 401Ks or IRAs and hope it'll be enough without knowing how these plans work. Everyone wants a better life for their family, but few have a plan.

Today, there are nearly 76 million Baby Boomers (born 1946-1964). Every day about 10,000 of them turn 65! Many of them struggle to survive because they did not prepare enough for retirement.

Generation X (born 1965-1980) are worried about keeping their jobs and paying growing bills. Many of them are part of the "sandwich generation," caught between the burden of taking care of their children and helping their aging parents.

Millennials (born after 1980) are facing even bigger hurdles with the economy. As the labor market becomes global, companies are increasingly sending their operations overseas.

Is Company Sponsored Life Insurance Enough?

Online event

As part of its employee benefits package, many companies offer life insurance coverage. If it’s free – as the life policy often is – there’s really no reason not to take the benefit. Free is (usually) good. But free can be costly if it prevents you from seeing the big picture.
