STEP THREE: Show up to Union Square Park South by the steps on Saturday, June 21st anytime starting at 4:00 pm to practice--there will be separate areas for each of the songs, plus one-on-one lessons will be available for absolute beginners. You can practice all or just some of the songs...Then we play EN MASSE at 5:00 pm! There will be room for about 120 people on the steps...you can also bring your own chair or guitar strap to play standing up.
Check in at the welcome table near the steps to pick up song charts and enter a drawing for prizes like 3 months of guitar classes, T-shirts, and more.
Bring your guitar, uke or other instrument. Electric guitarists and bassists are welcome to bring battery powered amps (no supplied power is available.)
Bring water, sunscreen, a hat or whatever it takes to be comfy. And keep in mind that Union Square is a crowded urban park-we recommend gig bags with name tags to avoid confusion.

Every Tuesday and Thursday we open to the public at 7 PM! Drop by to hang out and chat or work on projects using our equipment. Everyone is encouraged to bring a project to work on! If another day suits you better, even if there isn't a scheduled meetup event, guests are welcome to visit our space and use the facilities whenever a member is present!

We are a the folks from PhotoManhattan School offering free and affordable photography classes in NYC, workshops and photo exhibitions on a monthly basis. All our events are booked with photographers and photo students from our school and remaining spaces are regularly opened for free for the members of this group. Other events and classes may have a nominal fee. You won't be alone. Just walk in head to the front desk, mention that you come from meetup.com, we'll be expecting you.
