  • self-service as opposed to long boot camps,
  • emphasizes good writing

  • written iteratively to get stuff done.

This group for those who want to:
-become an Ethereum developer
-understand the technical aspects of Ethereum and related tech in depth
-Build open-source projects in DeFi and find like-minded developers
Every meetup will have an update on our current open-source efforts, a weekly DeFi recap, a talk or workshop on a technical topic around building on Ethereum or presentations by leading figures. 
There will also be the opportunity to meet and socialize with like-minded souls. Look forward to a regular coding demo segment to help to begin Ethereum developers get started in the world of decentralized finance

STEP THREE: Show up to Union Square Park South by the steps on Saturday, June 21st anytime starting at 4:00 pm to practice--there will be separate areas for each of the songs, plus one-on-one lessons will be available for absolute beginners. You can practice all or just some of the songs...Then we play EN MASSE at 5:00 pm! There will be room for about 120 people on the steps...you can also bring your own chair or guitar strap to play standing up.

Check in at the welcome table near the steps to pick up song charts and enter a drawing for prizes like 3 months of guitar classes, T-shirts, and more.

Bring your guitar, uke or other instrument. Electric guitarists and bassists are welcome to bring battery powered amps (no supplied power is available.)

Bring water, sunscreen, a hat or whatever it takes to be comfy. And keep in mind that Union Square is a crowded urban park-we recommend gig bags with name tags to avoid confusion.

Hack Manhattan

Hack Manhattan is a makerspace located on 34 West 37th Street between Herald Square and Bryant Park. We are dedicated to technology, art and craft. Every Tuesday and Thursday we open to the public at 7 PM! Drop by to hang out and chat or work on projects using our equipment. Everyone is encouraged to bring a project to work on! If another day suits you better, even if there isn't a scheduled meetup event, guests are welcome to visit our space and use the facilities whenever a member is present!

PhotoManhattan - Photography classes NYC & Free Exhibits

We are a the folks from PhotoManhattan School offering free and affordable photography classes in NYC, workshops and photo exhibitions on a monthly basis. For a full list of photo classes and events please visit [Photomanhattan.com](https://www.photomanhattan.com).  All our events are booked with photographers and photo students from our school and remaining spaces are regularly opened for free for the members of this group. Other events and classes may have a nominal fee. You won't be alone. Just walk in head to the front desk, mention that you come from meetup.com, we'll be expecting you. For other photo courses and online webinars please view a wide range of photo classes from street photography, through Studio & Lighting, to TTL flash.

At exhibits, you'll find tons of people, up to 45 at times, music, complementary snacks and beverages, friendly people, and great photographs! You may socialize as much as you like, or simply watch the students' photo series on your own. Exhibitions are open to everyone.

Free classes can be anywhere from 5 to 20 students. They are structured classes, not just talks. We offer remaining spaces for free at meetup.com as often as possible. Some have hands on or outdoor shooting, depending on their description.
