If you're looking to enlarge your circle of long-term friends, you've come to the right place! We get together for coffee and conversation, activities, exploration, and sharing ideas. But mostly, we are making meaningful, lasting connections in a friendly and supportive environment.

We do ask for members to contribute $5 within 3 months of joining to help cover the Meetup group fee of ~$314 per year. You can pay in person at an event or via PayPal at PayPal.me/femalefriends808 (select Friends and Family so they don't take out a fee). Venmo is also an option, just send me a message for more details. Depending on the response from new members you may also say additional occasional requests for contributions if we haven't raised enough for the fee. And a few events may collect a small amount from each person (such as $2) to help with the fee. It's harder than you would think to raise the amount needed to keep the group going. In order to alert you of event cancellations, changes, or confirmation requests, it’s essential that you have your EMAIL UPDATES and NOTIFICATIONS be turned on in SETTINGS on the FFFF homepage. Here’s how you can do that:

If you RSVP to an event with LIMITED seating and you can no longer attend you must cancel your RSVP at least 4 hours ahead of the event but the day before would be ideal. If you do not, you will get a No Show because we want to be fair to others who want to attend and are on the waitlist. The purpose of this group is to build friendships, so two No Shows and you will be no longer be a member of this group.
