"Highlights of the BVI and a preview of sailing there"
The Westchester Sail and Power Squadron's January general meeting will be highlighted by a slide presentation and talk by Captain Michael Miller on sailing in the BVI.
Come see the gorgeous views and secluded anchorages. Have your questions answered about sailing there.
Captain Michael, a member of the Westchester chapter is a USCG Licensed Master who runs charters throughout the Caribbean and Mediterranean Seas including 7 trips in the BVI. He has led the sailing program at the Appalachian Mountain Club, Fire Island Cabin for the past 12 years and is the organizer of the Fire Island Sailing Alliance Meetup Group.
Guests are welcomed to the meeting and presentation, admission free and wine, beer and snacks will be served. This will be a chance for you to get acquainted with this great organization that offers a plethora of maritime educational courses on all aspects of boating, navigation, safety etc. and performs important services in the area of boating safety. New members are welcome!
