Deploying Flask

Building your Flask application is often the easy part. After it's done you need to get it into production. Which web server should you use? Which application server should you use? With so many options, how do you know which ones are right for you?

We'll explore different options and hopefully help you make the choices that are right for you.

A version of this for heroku or dokku would be awesome for immediate applicability :)

It was unfortunately not immediately applicable but some very good information I plan to use when I developer larger flask apps.

Note taking was rampant. Good speaker and I like these guys so what else can I say other than I'm perhaps a bit biased?!

Good stuff. I am using NGINX/Gunicorn. I am going to learn Ansible to deploy to AWS

This was an inightful foray into the intricacies of application deployment. And, Matt, thank you for the additional pointers afterwards. It's great to have a Flask event after what's been a while. Kudos to the organizers for the quality. I look forward to more in the days to come. Now, when is the next one coming up? :)

Does the map seem to be pointing to the right place? Someone mind checking and replying here?

Will using uWSGI in Emperor mode to deploy multiple apps be covered?

That is an excellent question to which I do not know the answer. A wide array of topics will be touched upon but I don't know all of the specific components that will be included.
