Better Quality Through Unit Testing

  • Sep 1, 2009 · 7:00 PM
  • GCA Technology Services in Tampa, FL

For this month's meeting on Tuesday, September 1st, the Central Florida Web Developer User Group meeting will be focused on improving the quality of your product or service through the adoption of Unit Testing. The presentation will review writing your own unit tests for the programming language of your choice as well as adopting a Unit Testing Framework to accelerate your development. "In computer programming, Unit Testing is a software verification and validation method in which a programmer tests if individual units of source code are fit for use. A unit is the smallest testable part of an application. In procedural programming a unit may be an individual program, function, procedure, etc., while in object-oriented programming, the smallest unit is a class, which may belong to a base/super class, abstract class or derived/child class." - Wikipedia Our Speaker Is... Aaron Greenlee (yours truly) will be our speaker. A resident of Southern California until 2008, now of Tampa FL, Aaron is the Web Technology Manage for GCA Technology Services, Inc. Thanks for your participation in our user group and for your interest in advancing our community. Regards, Aaron Greenlee
