Announcing a new Meetup for Central Florida Web Developers User Group!

What: What the heck is mound?

When: Tuesday, December 7,[masked]:00 PM

Where: GCA Technology Services in Tampa, FL
4919 Memorial Hwy. Suite 150
Tampa, FL 33634

Join the Central Florida Web Developers User Group for a special meeting with a new speaker to our group, Joshua Watson, as he shares his open source project ::mound:: and we raffle off a copy of your favorite Adobe Software!

About our Topic
::mound:: is an open source software development management system written in PHP with a MySQL back-end that Joshua Watson has "been building as an excuse to avoid physical activity." The goal of the project is to provide a lightweight and easy-to-use system for managing software projects. The presentation demonstrate ::mound::, the philosophy behind it and some of the special features in order to shamelessly self-promote Joshua's project. Joshua hopes to gather feedback from the group.

Cool Stuff!
Come down and check out Joshua's new project, learn about his motivations and lessons from his experience. The presentation will begin with an intro to ::mound::, a quick demonstration and then an opportunity for members to provide feedback to make the project better. After the presentation we will raffle off a gift from one of our sponsors... Your favorite Adobe Software Product!

This is our last raffle of the year! See you there!

About our Speaker
Josh Watson has been programming in one fashion or another since the age of 11. Throughout his teenage years he spent many a Saturday night with an open IDE hacking away at one project or another. He is currently employed by Administrative Solution as a Systems Architect working mostly in MS SQL Server.

Possible Change to Meeting Location
We may be relocation to a new location just a few miles away. I'll post an update if the location changes.
