What is your favorite genre to write in?

I love to write poetry, music (lyrics and sheet), short stories, and am currently trying out writing a novel. I usually base my short stories around horror apwith a tinge of comedy. I also enjoy using my writing as a critique for sects of society. Blurring the gender gaps and creating new divisions between people, very risqué ideas, provactive thoughts, and creative writing all take part in my work.

Who are your writing mentors/heroes? In other words, whose work inspires you?

I am inspired and dream to be like the protagonist of the novel series "Gossip Girl" by Cecily Von Ziegesar, Dan Humphrey. The transformation he undergoes is what I believe every writer goes through, and he does so in a way, artfully created by Cecilly, that truly brings out the emotions that a reader joule understand how to capture in his/her writing. Aside from the fact, she is also a inspirational writer, especially in the sense that she did not let her age determine or limit her ideas. She decided to critique society through teenagers, and did so in a highly under appreciated way. In my opinion, most writing is appreciated at its best by the few willing to explore it, rather than by the many who only enjoy it. Now I understand that this may not be the ideal hero for a writer in many successful and prominent writer's opinions, but to each their own and I must say that I rightfully disagree-as long as one has inspiration and expresses it in an understandable manner, let them have it.

What do you hope to get out of this group?

I hope to improve my writing skills so I may better express myself. I don't only hope to do this by listening to other's opinions, but also by giving my own thoughts on others' works. To expand my own limits and then break them-that is my goal.

I believe the best way to get into the lifestyle and world that you want is to write your way into it. I'm fifteen and I work as a freelance writer doing copy and ghost writing. Many say I'm not fit to, but I embrace my talent and express myself.
