This is going to be a really great event. I’m sorry this conflicts with the Beatles tribute band, but now you have two really great choices of something to do on the 16th. It's going to be a busy weekend for the Bison.
I love (almost) all music (I know, everyone says that), but Blues is on the top of my list. Last night I listened to Albert Castiglia with some special guests, and was completely blown away. He and “Trampled Under Foot” are the headliners at the Blues Fest, and below is a link to the Blues Fest site. You'll also see a YouTube link from last night when Danielle (from Trampled) and Samantha Fish were special guests. Below is a YouTube from Danielle Schebelen singing "I'd Rather Go Blind." and the video doesn’t give the performance justice. Let’s just say that for the whole 4 hour performance, guys who can’t dance (me) were moving and everyone else was simply moved. The crowd was mesmerized.
So here’s the deal. The music is from Noon until 1:00am. Albert Castiglia is on at 7:30 and T.U.F is on at 9:30, so my friends are joining me at 7:00ish. But the entire lineup is really outstanding. If The Bison's would like to make a day out of it, then let’s go. Nikki Hill at 5:30 is pretty great also, so I'll probably be there at 5:00ish. Heck, if you'll join me then I'll go at Noon and then you can listen to the Beatles later.
So this promises to be a very long, but very great, day. Please come join me - and I will find you. Friday night I will email the RSVP's my mobile number so we can "Meetup."

YouTube from January 27th at Fishtales with Albert Castiglia, Samantha Fish and Danielle Schnebelen (Trampled Under Foot). Danielle’s voice is simply remarkable (it starts about 25 seconds in):
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the event, or online the link I provided above. The following day is the Blues Film Festival. For $25 you can get a ticket that allows you all day access to both the music and film festivals...
