DARTALKS: Ride, walk, eat, talk about architecture

This Meetup is past

I know one of the students who is organizing this. It sounds fun, so I'm sorry I can't go. I'm still posting it in case some of you want to check it out. -Justin

From the email announcement I received:

The Rise, The Fall, The Renaissance presented by: Andy Sturm This is the first DARTALKS event ever! We want to encourage ridership of DART by bringing you once in a lifetime opportunities that riding DART can afford.

When: THIS Saturday (March 1st) at 12:22PM

Where: Mockingbird Station

Duration: 12:20 - 1:50pm Plenty of time to get ready for the basketball game at 3pm!

We will take DART’s red line to Pearl Arts District Station and pleasantly walk together to Klyde Warren Park, get some culinary delights from the food trucks, and have a chance to listen to renowned architect/designer, Andy Sturm, talk about Detroit. If you thought you knew what happened and is now happening in the former manufacturing hub of America, than think again! Andy is going to tell you the real story as well as mention the current design and arts renaissance that is occurring in Detroit. You won't want to miss out!

Who is Andy Sturm??
