Not Everyone Who Disagrees With Us Is Hitler: Rediscovering our Humanity in the Twitterverse
Using humor and heart, Seth Andrews explores how social media has both connected and disconnected us from the human condition. His presentation doesn't excuse the legitimate agents of awfulness in our world, but instead encourages - whenever possible - a charitable ear, a kind word, a note of compassion, and bold actions that don't cheat the possibilities of a better world.
The presentation will be followed by audience Q&A and some hang-out time together.
Seth Andrews is an atheist activist, broadcaster, and storyteller who - with humor and heart - takes a candid look at human behavior in our hyper-connected world, with a focus on compassion, and a humanist plea to STOP SHOUTING ALREADY!
