BRING YOUR CHILDREN. Age appropriate activities and presentations will be provided while you enjoy our speaker.

Dr. Peter Mosley was a strong ex-Christian anti-theist literature professor whose strongly antireligious blog was getting a million views a year, and he once swore he would never date a Christian. Efe Mofoye was a devout Catholic looking for a "man of God." But due to experiences in both of their lives, they took a chance on each other. 18 months later their relationship is still going strong. They are looking forward to sharing what they learned about how to respect people, how reaching out across divides can be opportunities to challenge ourselves, how relationships across ideological differences reveal the basic value of being a good person, the ways that different stances can actually enhance a relationship, and ways they bond that outshine their different views of religion.

This month's giving opportunity:
Bring new or gently used bras, and individually sealed tampons and maxi pads to donate to “I Support the Girls”. “I Support the Girls” supports women and girls nationally and internationally. Whether they be homeless, refugees, in transitional housing, or fleeing domestic violence, women and girls should never have to compromise on dignity.

Bring your gently used clothing, supplies and packaged food donations for our monthly giveaway partnership with Atheists Helping the Homeless. (

Potluck Tips
Just bring food (whatever dish you like to eat). FoF Dallas will supply the drinks, ice, napkins, plates, cups, and eating utensils.

Bring enough to feed yourself, your family, and your guests — as if that were all you had to eat. Food should be "ready to serve". It should be cooked, cut, and ready for someone to quickly put it on their plate as they walk through the line.

Label your dish with the ingredients if it contains common food allergens: milk, eggs, peanuts (groundnuts), nuts from trees (including Brazil nuts, hazelnuts, almonds, or walnuts), fish, shellfish (including mussels, crab and shrimps), soy products, and wheat.

Applications for Voting Membership will be collected at the Gatherings.

Fellowship of Freethought, as part of its mission to promote a family-friendly organization that emphasizes education, socialization, and charity, will be encouraging its members to gather together once a month to learn from each other, share in each others' lives, and coordinate outreach to the community. These "Gatherings" will combine music, short presentations, and special announcements all running alongside a fun yet educational youth program. Following presentations and youth activities is a potluck meal to encourage close fellowship among all members.

We rely on donations from our members. To support this and all of our 15-17 monthly events, donate at,, or talk to our staff about donating your time or skills to help build our vibrant community of freethinkers.
