Have you ever performed music in front of an audience (not counting Karaoke or social jams)?

Yes, I've played regularly at a senior citizens' building for most of the last 12 years. I played at a whole bunch of blues jams in bars and restaurants. Also have played in a band at a few work functions.

Do you play or are you learning a musical instrument? If so, which?

Guitar, harmonica, baritone ukulele, tambourine.

Who's your #1 favorite folk or folk-rock performer? Or, who are some of your favorites?

Dylan, but that's like being a basketball fan and saying Michael Jordan. Otherwise, probably the Byrds, Van Morrison, Neil Young, The Band; also, there are a lot of shamefully neglected performers out there including Tracy Grammer, Richard Thompson, Tony Joe White, Crooked Still, David Bromberg, Eliza Gilkyson.

What are some of your favorite folk or folk-rock songs?

Buffalo Springfield, Sit Down, I Think I Love You. Byrds, Wasn't Born to Follow. Blues Project, Fly Away. The Ballad of Jed Clampett by Flatt and Scruggs. Clancy and Makem, The Band Played Waltzing Matilda. Eliza Gilkyson, Paradise Hotel. David Bromberg, Kaatskill Serenade.

Tell us anything else about yourself you'd care to tell. Answering all these questions is optional, but we're interested.
