Announcing a new event for The DC Area Folk SOJO (Sing Out Jam Out)!

What: First SOJO of the New Year - 2nd Saturday this time

When: Saturday, January 12, 2:00 PM

Event fee: USD4.00 per person

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Event Description: Happy New Year everybody, and thanks again for making 2007 an enjoyable and unforgettable first year for SOJO!

Following hot on the heels of our uplifting, and at times wacky Holiday Extravaganza, is our next gathering on January 12. We're breaking with tradition here so heads up: We normally meet on the first and third Saturdays of the month, but an exception is being made in January when we meet the second and fourth Saturdays instead, in our usual 2:00 to 5:00 time slot. This is for January only as I will be out of town the first weekend.

So once again, bring your big happy voices, instruments, smiles, Rise Up Singing and something to quench your thirst the second Saturday.

Directions by car and metro are on this page, or by clicking the calendar entry from the "Calendar" link on the left side of the screen on our website. Make sure you're signed in. Let me know if you have questions.

There are plenty of free parking garages in the area. The closest is at 23rd Street and Crystal Drive.

See you all soon!

Keep on singin,' grinnin,' pickin,' hammerin,' blowin' and bowin,'

P.S. Don't forget to RSVP so we can all see who's coming and I'll know how to arrange the room. You can do so here (scroll down to "Our Next Meetup"):
