RE: [folk-45] Turn Turn Turn: Big change for our Sing/Jam group

I don’t think the Ethical Society building is handicap-accessible. Isn’t that the place with the steep stairs down to the only bathrooms?

I know I've only made it to one event but it was very fun and I hope this group continues - near DC would be great!  I have one idea and could look into it if any interest - don't know what it would cost to use facility at Washington Ethical Society on 16th St - not too far from Silver Spring & downtown DC.  I am not in a position w/ my job to take a very active role in organizing but could look into this at least - if there is interest.

While glad to hear adventures are in your future, Rick, it's a shame
to see this thing come to a crossroads. I do hope everyone can
conspire to find a way/place to keep it alive. Don't know what the
demographics of the group are, but I'd second the desire for a locale
that doesn't exclude those of us who live in DC proper, and who rely
on public transit to get around...
