Think I was gone for good? Not hardly. I'm just a little bogged down by life (and homebrew (http://trashhomebrewers.org/competition)).
The good news: this is a good event to get me back in the groove. The destination: Mediterrano — an excellent, new-ish Mediterranean restaurant up in the North Hills that I came across the place while I was looking for a place up north to grab lunch with a friend. We tried it, and I came out impressed. The menu included plenty of healthy and sometimes vegetarian items, the staff was fantastic, and the food was well prepared. All around, it was a great destination that just didn't have anyone talking about it. That's exactly the kind of place I like to highlight.

To make this event run a little bit more smoothly, the restaurant is offering up a fixed price menu for us. For $30 (which includes tax, tip, and corkage), you get a four-course meal. The salad and entree will be served family style, but you get to pick from among several different entrees.
Mediterrano is BYOB, so you should feel free to bring along your favorite beer or wine.
NOTE: This event is scheduled for a Tuesday now, but they'll open up the whole restaurant for us if we get a decent number of RSVPs. If that happens, we'll re-schedule a day earlier to Monday— when the restaurant normally isn't open.
