The UEFA Champions League Final

The 2024/25 UEFA Champions League concludes at the Munich Football Arena as Paris Saint-Germain meet Inter Milan for the first time.

Paris have never won the European Cup, losing to Bayern Münich in their sole previous final appearance, in Lisbon in 2020. If victoriuos, PSG would complete a memorable treble having already clinched the French Ligue 1 19 points ahead of the next best team, and the French Cup.

Inter, meanwhile, are looking to be crowned European champions for the fourth time – and a second in the Champions League era after their 2010 defeat of Bayern Münich in Madrid. The Milan side finished 2nd in the Italian Serie A, just 1 point behind champions, Napoli.

This is the second European Cup final between teams from France and Italy. The first remains the only time a Ligue 1 club has lifted the trophy – Marseille beating Inter's neighbours, AC Milan, 1-0 at the Olympiastadion in Munich in the 1993 Champions League.hi's side going down 0-1 to Manchester City in Istanbul in 2023.
